The concept for this work was to create a viewing experience of the book, to match the vernacular of the fables and the title “The World Upside Down”. As one opens the clamshell box, the title page, then the first image page is followed by the corresponding fable text page.

To induce the reader, one sees that the fable text page is in both Spanish and English, mirrored each other on the page. Therfore the reader must choose which language they wish to read the fable, thus having to physically turn the page upside down.
